Healthy Choice’s Detox Journey

DETOX DIET (or JUICE CLEANSE) is a special diet to promote detoxification & body purification, remove visceral and excess fat from the body and help the organs in the body work more efficiently.

We divide the Detox Program into 3 phases:

PHASE 1: Preparation – 2 days before the Treatment

The preparation phase for 1-2 days before the course, with the goal of training the body to get used to a “healthy” and vegan diet, sets the stage for the next Detox Diet days.

During these days, eat less starch, reduce meat in your diet, reduce coffee, tobacco, and don’t drink alcohol.

*Note: You should arrange the tasks/deadlines before the day of the Detox, so that in case your body needs to rest, you can arrange a reasonable time without being affected.

PHASE 2: DETOX JOURNEY (JUICE CLEANSE)

Depending on the course, you will have 1 day, 3 days, 5 days or 7 days of detox. After receiving your health information, we will begin to advise and plan a suitable menu.

In our Detox Program, you will go through the process of cleansing and detoxifying your body
with a menu of 6 small meals a day, mainly in liquid form & raw food to help your body to absorb and metabolise faster and easier,
and at the same time, supports the process of purification and detoxification.

Your meal plan will include: cold-pressed juice, green smoothies, vegetable soup or salad and vegan/vegetarian meals (if you choose the Easy Detox package).
Main ingredients are vegetables such as celery, spinach, cucumber, kale, beets, carrots…, vitamin-rich fruits such as apples, pineapples, oranges, bananas, papayas, avocados…, nutritious nuts: almonds, walnuts, cashews…, and superfoods such as chia seed, quinoa, flaxseed, spirulina, protein powder…

During a detox, you won’t normally eat anything else.

However, depending on your body condition and needs, you can eat more: nutritious nuts such as: almonds, walnuts, cashews … (about 1 fist for 1 day) and eat tubers such as: carrot, cucumber or some specified fruit.

We will support and monitor your detox every day through the contact method you register with us.

PHASE 3: AFTER DETOX JOURNEY

Eat lightly for the first few days. Gradually add other foods in moderation so that the body gradually accepts them.

After Detoxification, the journey of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and eating habits in a long and sustainable way really begins.

You can continue with the habit of 1 glass of Green Juice per day and a healthy menu that is suitable for you, as long as you ensure that you consume foods that are good sources of starch, fiber and nutrients for your body.

SOME NOTES ON DETOX JOURNEY

Sleep

Practice going to bed early every night (10PM or 11PM) and take a nap if possible.

Light exercise:

Try to maintain light physical activities every day such as yoga exercises, breathing exercises or simply remember to get up and walk a bit to increase blood circulation in the body if you sit at the office for too long.

Rest and relax:

Time to rest and relax during the detox process is very important. Therefore, if you have a detox plan, arrange your work accordingly to have more time for yourself and your body. If possible, relax with 1 or 2 massage treatments.

Prepare for the emotions that may “rise” during the detox process:

Did you know that the internal organs of the human body are closely related to your emotions and mental state? For example, the liver is related to anger, the kidneys are related to fear and the gallbladder is related to frustration. The detoxification process is closely related to the above parts, so if unpleasant emotions occur, be very calm, receive and control them. Imagine that the process is like you are “cleansing” all those unpleasant emotions out of your emotional system, just like your liver, gallbladder, kidneys and internal organs, your body is being detoxified and purified.

Some symptoms that may occur during the detox process:

When you start the detox process, it is also the time when your body has to work the hardest and most passionately to bring yourself back to the original healthy and balanced state. Therefore, the most important thing in this process is: “Listen to your body”.

Common symptoms such as increased urination, increased appetite, headache, dizziness, fatigue, bowel movements (liquid or constipation). Acne can also occur and is an inevitable part of the elimination process of toxin of the body.

At the same time, your body is telling you that your body wants to rest. Listen to those signals from your body and take the time to drink a cup of hot tea, relax or take a 20-minute nap, allowing your body to recover. Remember these experiences and compare them during the next few days.

Each body will have different reactions and you will see that you yourself will have to be the one to “find” and “understand” your body the most.

Stop “misusing” your body with bad eating and living habits and practice good and healthy habits in a sustainable and long-term way.
